With curved finely watered blade with slightly serrated cutting-edge and double-edged towards the reinforced point, cut with a central fuller and with two pairs of fullers over each side, the last along the top behind the yelman, the forte with traces of gold-damascened Mashallh in thuluth script, the back of the blade inscribed in gold nas'taliq 'Victory is ours in both life and death, our glory is achieved through victory' against a ground of gold dots, hilt entirely gold-damascened with panels of flowering foliage partly against gilt grounds, and comprising pointed langets, quillons with rounded downscrolled terminals, curved tapering knuckle-guard, swelling grip, and recurved pommel of circular section tapering towards the tips
