With blackened wooden body inlaid with vertical strips of white staghorn engraved with guilloche, and with engraved white staghorn ball-flowers between, each flanked by vertical horn lines, all centred on a border engraved white staghorn roundel, blued iron mount with hinged cover retained by a screw and opening to reveal an aperture for refilling, blued conical nozzle, and two rings for suspension
