A Fine Flintlock Powder-Tester
By Brander & Potts, Minories, Circa 1815

Of box-lock pistol form, with border engraved action signed in script, large circular indicator wheel with blued sprung release catch and internal return spring, numbered from '2' to '28' and made in one with a shaped border engraved anvil fitting against the muzzle, exposed trigger, figured flat-sided butt, and traces of original case-hardened finish
