Of Gothic type, with circular gear-box with bevelled edge and raised central tapering bar deeply struck with a brass-lined maker's mark, a pair of crossed arrows, clawed ratchet bar with angular belt-hook, slender curved winding arm of tapering circular section with turned swelling wooden handle, and original cord retaining loop
