The Second 19th Century And Later

The first with simulated russet finish to the exterior; the second comprising a leaded stained glass panel in two pieces, decorated as a knight's head wearing a helmet and mail and peering over his shield, the latter with a blazon and maker's mark, on a wooden plinth painted 'Swiss 14th Cent. From a window at Konigs Felden', a commemorative blue-printed earthenware plate of 'Eglington pattern', by Ridgeway, Morley, Wear & Company (cracked and stained), a smear-glazed green stoneware relief-moulded Eglington jug, by Ridgeway (rim chipped), a soup plate with crests of an armoured demi-knight, by Copeland (worn and partially redecorated), a dinner plate printed with the arms of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths, by Copeland (cracked), a plate printed with the arms of the Armourers and Braziers Company, by Cauldon, another plate with the same arms, by Royal Crown Derby, four tiles in 18th Century Dutch Delft style, each painted with a musketeer, by Minton and Hollis, two tobacco jars (chipped, covers missing), and various other items including two cannon balls, iron and lead shot of varying sizes, and a piece of shrapnel labelled 'Fragment Of German Bomb Dropped On Guernsey Airport 1940' (a lot)
