With slender curved blade double-edged towards the point and deeply struck with King's head mark on both sides towards the forte, hilt comprising rear quillon with bud-shaped terminal, slender knuckle-guard with swelling double leaf-calyx towards the centre, the foliate terminal hooked into the pommel-cap, and natural buckhorn grip (old split) with silver basal ferrule with fan-shaped extension on one side
