In 1824, Sigisbert Gomien established his business at 193 Rue Saint-Antoine in Paris. Gomien is also recorded as being based at 18 Rue des Tournelles in the historic Marais district of Paris between 1827 and 1842 (Denise Ledoux-Lebard, Le Mobilier Francais du XIX Siecle, 1984, p. 232).
