A pair of rare tielimu stools

early Qing dynasty
Each of square section, the flat upper surfaces supported on four straight rectangular legs supported by cross braces at the upper level and at the foot.
51cm (20in) high.

清初 鐵力木四平馬胡一對

One striking feature of this pair of unusually large archaic-dorm mawu stools is the multiple strengthened support devices. The construction of this pair of box-like flush sided mawu stools is fortified by aprons, stretchers between the legs and floor stretchers.
