A small bowl or teabowl, possibly Isleworth, circa 1775-85

printed in blue with a Chinese landscape including a figure on a bridge, a pavilion with a tower and a sampan by a willow tree, a further islandscape on the reverse, a tramline border inside, about 10cm diam (chipped and cracked)

Footnotes

The nature of the printed Chinese scene and the use of a tramline border inside points to an Isleworth attribution, although the pattern does not appear to have been published with any evidence to back up this attribution.
