Footnotes
Illustrated by Geoffrey Godden, English Blue and White Porcelain (2004), colour pl. 43 and pl. 209. Several different versions of moulded lobed teapots were made at Worcester early in the 1750s, of which this is a particularly rare size raised on a most unusual high footrim.
