A quite exceptional Worcester creamboat, circa 1754-55

Press-moulded with almost eggshell thinness, the reeded moulding stopping just beneath the fluted rim, the double rococo scroll handle with a curled thumbrest, painted in light blue with the 'Creamboat Warbler' pattern, the bird on a slender leaf painted beneath the lip, the sides with trees in blossom, the branches extended over the rim and spreading into border sprays inside, 13cm long, workman's mark at the bottom of the handle
