A rare Vauxhall plate, circa 1755-57

Of plain circular form, painted in dark blue with a Chinese river scene, a lightly wooded island with a pagoda and a small hut in the background, a boat emerging from a densely planted island in the foreground, the border with six irregularly spaced landscape vignettes, 23.6cm diam (rim chip)
