A Worcester dessert dish, circa 1785-90

Of lobed square shape and large size, printed in bright blue with the 'Classical Ruins Dessertware' pattern, the central scene of an angler in front of a ruined temple and an obelisk, within scrollwork and an elaborate Fitzhugh-type border, 24cm wide, disguised numeral mark (two minor nicks to the rim)
