A very rare Caughley pickle dish, circa 1785-95

Of most unusual form based on a scallop shell, the handle with moulded leaves or plant scrolls, printed in dark blue with the 'Fisherman' or 'Pleasure Boat' pattern, 13.3cm wide (broken and restored)
