Two Caughley dessert dishes, circa 1780-90

One of shell shape painted in bright blue with 'Salopian Sprigs', the rim also edged in bright blue, 21.2cm wide, impressed SALOPIAN in unusually large type, the other dish of oval shape painted in dark, inky blue with central 'Salopian Sprigs' and a 'Festoon' border, double blue line rim, 30cm long, impressed SALOPIAN (rim chip) (2)
