A Caughley mask jug, circa 1778-82

Of plain baluster shape, the handle with a slight thumbrest and a curled lower terminal, the mask lip with a sad mouth and a twisted beard, printed in blue with the 'Fence' pattern, the complete design repeated on the reverse, 18.6cm high, C mark printed indistinctly
