Of Hughes type, moulded on both sides with panels edged with scrollwork, flowers and leaves, trailing flowering branches extending out to each side, the panels painted in blue with different Chinese river scenes, one with a fisherman in a sampan by a willow tree and a fence, the other with a standing figure by a fence, flowers within the interior and around the rim, the handle terminals edged in blue, 20cm long, painter's numeral 3 inside footrim
