A Derby sauceboat, circa 1765-70

Of large size, moulded in relief with sprays of flowers and fruit hung from the gadrooned rim and flanking scroll-moulded panels, painted in bright blue with a pagoda and a smaller Chinese building beside a diagonal rock, a cell border and flowers within the interior, 21.6cm long, patch marks (rim chip)
