Of fluted oval form with a scrolled handle and a deep foot moulded with scrollwork, the sides with scroll-moulded panels picked out in blue and flanked by foliate branches, a narrower panel below the pronounced spout, the panels painted with Chinese river scenes including a figure crossing a bridge and another fishing, the interior with flowers, 17.1cm long, painter's numeral 3 inside footrim (rim chips and fine cracks), together with a waster of the same moulding (2)
