A Liverpool large shell sweetmeat dish, circa 1780-90

Attributed to John or Jane Pennington, of deep form with a boldly moulded handle picked out in blue, the interior printed with a spray of flowers including a thorny rose and a lily, surrounded by five scattered sprigs and a feathered border around the rim, 15.4cm long (cracked)
