A group of five wood netsuke

Consisting of three 19th Century carvings, one of a stained boxwood seated karashishi, the next fashioned as a leafy cluster of gingko nuts, the last a standing traveler laughing with his head thrown back, his garments with lacquer accents; one early 20th Century partially lacquered manzai dancer in mid-step; and a bird-headed tengu hatching from a large egg; together with a figure in red lacquer simulating coral and a carved seated figure with inlaid eyes (one eye missing).
