Six ivory netsuke

Consisting of a Meiji Period miniature landscape with four blind anma (masseurs) and a dog attempting to cross a bridge, signed Yoshimitsu; a portrait of a seated wheel maker rubbing his eye, signed Meigyoku; a monk seated on a gigantic straw sandal hoisted on the back of a fierce Buddhist guardian, signed Kyuen/Hisatoshi; the Chinese immortal Fukurokuju riding on the back of a red-headed crane, with pigment accents; a hanging scroll unfurling to reveal a pair of karako in the guise of Kanzan and Jitoku; and a small study of bamboo shoots.
