Taisho/Showa Period
Portraying Gesshoten, the Goddess of the Moon, with a phoenix headdress and standing with a fan and a small rabbit held to the front, her brocade robes with inlaid butterflies and blossoms in mother-of-pearl, horn, lacquer and silver, the base with an inlaid cartouche reading Seishi/Yoshiyuki (hairline cracks).
