Meiji/Taisho Period
The asa suo associated with the Kyogen drama, each piece fashioned from a light brown plain-weave hemp fabric, the jacket decorated with a 'rice-cake' mon repeated on the sides and back of the hakama, with ink notation reading Kawasaki honke (staining).
