Three lacquer decorated wood stands

Late Edo/Meiji Period
The first a mulberry wood book stand, the lower section with a gilt takamakie scene of chidori flying near jakago amid reeds; the second an elegant circular keyaki wood stand with three cabriole-shaped supports decorated with gilt lacquer aoi and kiri family crests (mon); the last a rectangular gilt lacquered stand with an unusual openwork base.
