Consisting of a set of five small plates with a raised butterfly and wisteria design picked out in colored lacquer, Negoro-style underside; a small square tray centered by a butterfly, accompanying box signed Rokkairo and dated Meiji 2 (1869); and a large lozenge form tray with a foliate edge and three Bugaku masks to the interior, one inscribed Kamakura Hachimangu, with gilt accents, the base stamped [Haku]kodo Goto saigu.
5 7/8, 7 7/8 and 16in (15, 20 and 40.8cm) long
