A group of three Kyoto earthenware vessels

Each decorated with polychrome enamels and gilt, the first a cylindrical hand warmer reticulated with chrysanthemum, paulownia, and morning glory leaf patterns, the body painted with cranes amid cresting waves below a 'cloth cover' modelled in low relief and decorated with stylized waves, the domical lid en suite; the second a small pear-form vase with chrysanthemum sprays to each side and two inverted leaves to the slender neck and shoulder; the third a censer in the form of Hotei, his treasure sack fitted with a perforated cover, sack and robe decorated with a brocade pattern in blue, green and gold.
