Of rectangular shape with rounded corners and decorated on the lid top with a gosho-guruma (court ox-cart) at the seashore partially obscured by bands of mist, executed in gold, silver, copper and shibuichi, signed Katsu[hide] and sealed Shigeru, the base stamped jungin (pure silver).
