Three champlevé enamel bronze vessels

Circa 1900
The first an ovoid vase with opposing bird-head handles and archaistic enamel bands suspending lappets, incised Takao-saku; the second a foliate-edged jardinière encircled by high relief phoenix flanked by enamel bat and floral bands; the last lobed ovoid jardinière with notched flaa nges and central bat- and floral-patterned enamel bands below a row of raised animal masks at the inverted rim, the base with Takao Company carotuche (base loose, wear).
Vase 10 3/4in (27.5cm) high; jardineres 12 and 13 1/2in (30 and 34cm) diameter
