Two Tibetan thangka

18th/19th Century
Each gilt and gouache on fabric, cut down, framed and glazed; the first depicting Paramasukha-Chakrasamvara in yab-yum with his consort Vajravarahi within a flame-edged mandorla bordered by eight dakini; the second of Garuda in his Hayagriva form with his consort in yab-yum and accompanied by small figures of dharampala and bodhisattvas; each with a long textual passage across the bottom edge (extensive wear).
