Of flattened hu form and carved in high relief with a continuous landscape scene involving a pitched battle around city walls and reversed by a judgment scene, two figure panels separating animal head handles with loose rings at the neck and a seated scholar reading as the finial to the cover, the surfaces tinted with black pigment.
