Afghanistan
Fashioned as an oval-cut stone, this is a rare example of colorless tourmaline—and a particularly large one at over 10 carats. Achroite tourmaline is a member of the Elbaite sub-group of tourmalines, many of which are heated to make them a more saturated color—rarely are they left in their original colorless state. This lustrous and highly transparent example is a true stone for the collector. Weighing approximately 10.83 carats and measuring 16.0 x 12.5 x 8.5mm
