Designed by Stephane Mesnil
Also termed "shagreen", derived from the French chagrin, stingrays are farmed in Thailand to furnish the handbag and leather industry. The term began to be applied to leather made from sharkskin or the skin of a rayfish. While the natural color is gray, the leather can easily be stained a myriad of colors. The first is dyed ivory color, with an applied decoration designed in the form of a sinuous snake set with white and blue topaz set in silver and gold vermeil; the second cuff bracelet is dyed black with an applied decoration of turquoise and blue topaz set in gold vermeil bezel-settings. These bracelets are hand fabricated in Thailand and are lined in leather, adjustable.
