Multi-color Tourmaline

Cruzeiro Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Showing three distinct zones of color graduating from deep rose at the top to indicolite at the center and bottle green at the base, this fine elbaite specimen is a classic, from 1980s finds in Brazil. It is hard to describe the quality of this piece, which kept it in a major US collection until recently, of a noted gem crystal collector. weighs 149.89cts (29.98 grams)
and measures 5.5 x 1.7 x 11.6 cm.
Offered on a custom-fitted acrylic base.
