The rarest and hardest diamonds on the planet, carbonados are dark polycrystalline diamonds from outer space. They can be found in only two places on Earth where they were delivered by a single asteroid impact over two billion years ago. Most specimens recovered have weighed 3 carats or less. This large carbonado, weighing almost 11 carats, is completely original, displaying, under magnification, the pebbly appearance of the individual diamond crystals. Weighs 10.74 carats; Measures 13 x 10 mm
