The freshwater stingrays and ancient perch relatives of the Green River Formation are both uncommon finds. Here, examples of each are seen on the same plate with eleven Knightia eocaena specimens, the state fossil of Wyoming. The delicate rays of the stingray's disc are well defined. Lovely iron oxide staining and stunning natural composition add to the aesthetic value of this superlative piece. Fitted with French cleat for effortless wall display.
