A Suitcase Containing Ephemera To Lieutenant Colonel J.Evans D.S.O. 2nd Battn The Monmouthshire Regiment

The case stamped to 'Lt. Col. J. Evans, 2nd Bn Mon Reg', the contents comprise his cased binoculars (Karl Zeiss. Jena Turact 8X), a scrap book mainly covering Col. Evans's post WWI service in the T.A., a few photographs showing Evans in early S.D. uniform (C.1908) and during WWI, a large collection of genuine mainly British military cap badges, the majority mounted on a cloth band, these include 5th DGs (K/C), Manchester's (1st Pattern), Hertfordshire Regiment, 6th Bn King's Liverpool Regt, 18th Bn London Regiment, Camerons (pre 1892) etc, (approx 50+ caps) plus various collars, s/titles and miscellaneous items, two cased HM silver sporting medallions for the Welsh Border Brigade (1924-1925) and various loose foreign coinage.
