Painted with a Kauffahrtei scene of merchants and their wares by a quayside within a gilt scrollwork cartouche embellished in iron-red and purple, the gilt-edged rim with a flowerhead and scrollwork at the moulded corners, the reverse completely moulded with a basketwork ground, reserved with two moulded quatrelobe floral panels edged in gilding and brown, 13.3cm wide, crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt numerals 27. inside footrim
