Painted with four panels around the rim with alternating chinoiserie and European landscape scenes, each within a gilt cartouche with scrollwork and dots and filled with Böttger lustre, against a band of gilt arched panels, a trellis-ground alternating with gilt foliage on Böttger lustre, the well painted with indianische Blumen hung from a border of gilt foliate scrollwork and two insects in the centre, the reverse with three branches of indianische Blumen, 21.6cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue
