The decoration for this plate is taken after a Chinese example. Another plate without the enamel decoration is in the collection of the Kunstgewerbemuseum in Berlin, and is published with an illustration (Baumgärtner 1961 plate 1). The author refers to a decorated piece in the collection of Otto Blohm as published by Robert Schmidt. She also notes that another piece with different enamel colouring was in the collection of Gustav von Klemperer.
