Painted with a chinoiserie scene depicting a figure seated by a boiling kettle on a stand, and another holding a banner and long staff hung with objects, within concentric iron-red circles, gilt border of alternating trellis panels to rim, 13cm diam., crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 48., impressed 2 inside footrim
