In excavated condition, with broad tapering blade with rounded point and central fuller over most of its length on each side, each fuller at the forte with a latten-inlaid running wolf mark between latten-inlaid cross potents, hilt comprising quillons of circular section widening towards the tips, partly fullered flat tapering tang, and slightly compressed wheel pommel with stepped button finial
