In excavated condition, with broad slightly tapering blade (some small repairs) retaining fragments of its original wooden scabbard overall, slender tapering flat tang retaining two twisted silver wire rings from the grip binding, hilt comprising crossguard of arched rounded form, and two-piece pommel retaining an original strand of twisted silver wire on each side, the upper part of trilobite form
