With broad flat double-edged rebated blade (some light pitting overall) deeply stamped on one side near the forte with a bearded man's head wearing a hat, possibly representing a Turk, between man-in-the-moon and pellet marks, gilt-brass hilt comprising faceted rectangular quillon-block and straight quillons of tapering octagonal section, large globular pommel with button, and slightly swelling grip bound with twisted copper wire secured by gilt-brass ferrules
