With tapering blade double-edged towards the point and with double fuller over most of its length on each side and incised 'Andria Farara' between double 'X' marks within the fullers at the forte, iron guard of rounded bars framing fretted incised panels pierced with stylised hearts and circles, the side panels each with 'ram's horn' terminal pierced with a stylised heart between, riveted downscrolled wrist-guard, fluted flattened bun-shaped pommel, and late 18th century spirally-grooved fishskin-covered grip bound with twisted wire, in its late 18th century black leather scabbard with linear engraved iron locket and chape
