The first of steel and shaped to the fore-arm, the outer surface with three central cartouches each chiselled with a Persian huntsman on horseback between further smaller cartouches each chiselled with a bird or a hare, all within gold-damascened foliate borders, the outer edges bordered by panels of arabesques and foliage within gold-damascened borders, two wrist-plates en suite and retaining some butted mail, and remains of textile lining; the last entirely of butted iron rings (2)
