A Cased 150-Bore Five-Shot Double-Action Percussion Revolver
By G. Jefferies, Norwich, Mid-19th Century

With octagonal sighted barrel engraved around the muzzle, signed border engraved top-strap, border engraved cylinder and frame (side-plate retaining screw missing), trigger-guard and butt, the last with chequered rounded grips, hinged rammer, and traces of original blueing (some pitting overall): in original fitted mahogany case lined in blue velvet with some accessories including James Dixon & Sons powder-flask (cut-off spring incomplete) retaining much of its lacquered finish, bullet mould and nipple-key, the interior of the lid (lid loose and relined) with illustrated maker's trade label, Birmingham proof marks
