With shortened rebrowned sighted barrels (some surface rust) with traces of signature along the rib and 'Patent' between engraved lines in front of the foliate engraved 'doll's head', foliate scroll engraved tang with chequered top-lever en suite and engraved 'Patent', signed foliate scroll engraved action and border engraved locks, dolphin hammers and mounts, figured butt, chequered grip (split) and detachable fore-end, the latter with moulded horn tip, and vacant silver escutcheon and barrel-bolt escutcheons (iron parts with some wear and light pitting), Birmingham proof marks
