With sighted barrels signed in full along the rib, long slender scroll engraved tang, signed back-action locks, hammers, rounded action, rotary under-lever and mounts all en suite, the trigger-guard involving a gundog, figured butt (butt-plate replaced in horn), chequered grip and detachable fore-end (horn cap missing), and gold escutcheon engraved with owner's crest and motto (in worn condition overall, iron parts painted black): in its lined and fitted leather case (lock clasp missing, handle detached), London proof marks
