A Cased 40-Bore Air Rifle And Gun

With russet turn-off octagonal leaf-sighted barrel rifled with seven grooves, threaded breech with gold line and oval gold-lined maker's stamp, signed border engraved action decorated with a garland suspended from a ribbon on top and with a martial trophy on the left side, border engraved cocking-lever with roller bearing on the external mainspring (probably replaced), border engraved trigger-guard decorated with a martial trophy and foliage, iron butt reservoir now covered in black leather, figured fore-end with iron sling mount and engraved silver fore-end cap, and original horn-tipped ramrod: in later leather and canvas case (some damage) with original smooth-bore barrel en suite, bullet mould and brass-mounted iron pump
